Jay-Z To Join Apple?


Apple hopes to convince Jay-Z to become the head of a new record label that is being created.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has been considering new positions since leaving Def Jam Records. He may be collaborating with Apple to create a new label.
According to the website The Boy Genius Report, Jay-Z may be given the responsibility of finding new talent in the urban sound genre, which is what he was doing for Def Jam.
A spokesman for Def Jam records refused to comment on the story, but did reveal that Jay-Z is “considering several different options”.
There are rumours that Apple will announce its entry into the music world during the Mac World Exposition in San Francisco from January 14 through January 18.
